What is interimCEO/interimCFO?

It's a new business network that utilizes social networking tools to provide interim executives with a new source for assignments and potential new members of their interim teams

What's going on with this Beta version?

We are creating a platform to serve interim execs worldwide. Next we'll add a site for hiring companies, plus the assignment/member search capability. The network is adding members daily with a goal of 1,000 members before we officially launch the platform.

So I can't search for project assignments/interim candidates yet?

Project assignments are being posted on our homepage currently and the network's members can be browsed manually by clicking the Members tab on the homepage. We expect to make both assignments and members searchable by the time the network is officially launched.

I noticed that this service will be free to both execs and companies. How does that work?

Making it free of charge allows for transparency on both sides of the table. Members have no obstacles to reviewing interim assignments, and hiring companies are likewise free to review network members' credentials.

The business model is to generate revenue from our sponsorships, leaving us neutral to both sides of the project assignment process.

I noticed that I create a Ning ID when I sign up. Is www.interimceo.com a social network?

This is a business network using Ning's platform from which we have adapted some of the more powerful social networking tools: videos, Google mapping, photos, forums, comments, etc. Other than creating a Ning ID at signup, members have no interaction with the Ning community on our site.

As a Member, I can upload a video. What kind of videos are you looking for?

It should answer one of the following questions in 30-60 seconds:

• What's your biggest triumph in business so far?
• What's your view of interim work?
• What's most important about leadership in your opinion?
• What companies do you most admire in business? And why?

This is the fastest, easiest way a company in need of your services can form an impression of you.
